5-Day Tanzania Comfort Safari

Trip Overview

We get to experience the highlights of the Northern Safari Circuit during this 5-day luxury safari. Elephants among the acacia trees, lions in the trees, monkeys in the forest, and a wide variety of animals inside a collapsed volcano are just a few examples of the breathtaking wildlife we encounter in the midst of diverse landscapes. We also go to the Serengeti National Park, which is the habitat of about 3 million animals. The best place to see cheetahs, leopards, rhinos, and lions in the wild is on these breathtaking grass plains.

DAY 1
DAY 1

Arrival (Arusha, Tanzania)

A Siroon Experience representative will meet you at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), which handles domestic flights, and drive you to your Arusha lodging. The Ilboru Safari Lodge, a serene lodge with a natural setting and a lovely garden ready for your safari the next day, will be where you spend the night.

DAY 2
DAY 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

soon after breakfast in the morning. Our journey to Tarangire National Park begins. The Tarangire River, which flows through the park, is the source of its name. During the dry season, this “river of warthogs” is the only source of water for the local wildlife. The vegetation, which includes elephant grass and acacia woodlands, is quite dense in some areas. The park is well known for its herds of elephants, which frequently gather by the river. Giraffe, bushbuck, and hartebeest may also be seen. Numerous predators, such as lions and leopards, are closely monitoring these animals. Tarangire National Park is home to more breeding bird species than any other place on earth. Tarangire, which is home to the majority of Tanzania’s elephants, is the ideal location to observe these gentle giants in their natural environment, from the cuddly calves to the commanding bulls. After a picnic lunch, we travel to Eileen’s Tree Inn or a location similar for dinner and the night.

DAY 3
DAY 3

Ngorongoro Cater to Serengeti National Park

We leave for Ngorongoro crater in the early morning after breakfast. Ngorongoro Crater seems like a lost world when you first see it. Large lion families and the critically endangered black rhino can be seen there. Two to three million years ago, a sizable volcano erupted, collapsing in on itself to form the crater. It is well-known for its stunning geology as well as the fact that it is a natural reserve that has some of the densest populations of large mammals on the entire African continent. When you arrive at the crater floor, you are immediately surrounded by large herds of wildebeest, zebra, gazelles, and more than 500 different bird species. The drive down into the crater is an adventure in and of itself. The black rhino, which is endangered and occasionally seen in the open grass, is most likely to be seen in the crater. Drive to the Serengeti National Park after a picnic lunch. At Serengeti Heritage Luxury Tented Camp, there will be dinner and overnight.

DAY 4
DAY 4

Serengeti National Park to Karatu

After an early breakfast, we’ll leave for our game viewing drive at around 6:30 am. We will have six to seven hours to thoroughly explore this amazing park. The Serengeti is home to a wide variety of animals, including impala, buffalo, crocodiles, and hippos, but it is best known for its enormous herds of zebras (250 000), wildebeest (1.5 million! ), and antelope that migrate each year (half a million). The journey of the animals varies from year to year and is influenced by the rainfall. Aside from the herds that are migrating, we might also see lions, cheetahs, and leopards going about their dangerous business. We depart from Karatu at around 14:00, arriving at our carefully chosen mid-range partner lodge for dinner in a superbly equipped restaurant, with a pool for relaxation if desired, a digestif by the fire beneath the endless African sky, perhaps, and our roomy accommodations awaiting us for a night of comfort and dreams of wild cats! We’ll spend the night at Eileen’s Tree Inn.

DAY 5
DAY 5

Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha

The lodge will provide a morning meal. It takes a quick drive to get to Lake Manyara National Park. Manyara, a 120 km west of Arusha park that is relatively small but diverse, gets its name from a shallow salt lake that makes up about 70% of the park’s total area. This soda lake, which is home to over 500 different bird species and thousands of flamingos, floats and dries according to the seasons. We’ll see monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, elephants, and, hopefully, lions relaxing on trees as we explore the park. The park is renowned for its varied topography, which includes not only wide-open grassy plains but also woodlands filled with primates and cliffs covered in baobab trees. After a picnic lunch, we head back to Arusha, where our adventure comes to an inevitable end. We’ll be there in time for your flight home or to Zanzibar.
